Famous Graffiti artist known only as ‘Banksy’ had a moment on Friday when one of his most famous works, Girl with Balloon, was bought in auction for over $1 million and then shredded mere moments after the gavel hit.

In the video, posted below and apparently gotten from Banksy himself, we see a man (presumably Banksy, but who knows?) building a shredder into the bottom line of a frame. A minute later, as the auction for the work along with said frame ends, and as the crowd congratulates the winner of the piece, the shredder goes off, and the sitcom-esque silence amongst the crowd sinks in as it sits and watches in fear and doubt.

From a troll point of view, this is fantastic, but, pragmatically, I’m not sure if I feel bad for the person who won. Does she get her money back? If she doesn’t, is she mad over that? Or is she stoked to have contributed to what will most likely be a fairly iconic moment in the history of art?

In other words…

Is she…
