Yesterday, metal legends Converge re-released a cover the Cure's Disintegration from the Cure's 1989 album of the same name.

Originally recorded and released in 1999 for a now out-of-print "Disintegrated: A Tribute to The Cure" compilation, the song comes after Converge's recent Beautiful Ruin EP was released in June, and almost a year since their AWESOME The Dusk in Us was released last November. Both are worth checking out.

The cover starts fairly Cure-esque, and delves into Converge territory about halfway through. Singer Jacob Bannon does a surprisingly pretty on-point Robert Smith impression around the same time.

Download it here, and be sure to check out their other shit.
