In case the above picture is insufficient for whatever reason, here is the full list of nominees for the 2019 Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame: Janet Jackson, The Cure, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Kraftwerk, Def Leppard, the MC5, John Pine, Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks (who is already a Hall of Famer with Fleetwood Mac), LL Cool J, Todd Rundgren, The Zombies, Rufus and Chaka Khan, Devo and Roxy Music.
Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest have been eligible for some time, but, as we all know, metal is not real music.
Yes, I’m offended (fuck off), but with all these morons running around acting like being an expert on politics or philosophy is about as simple as lying down on the couch and sleeping, the correlation between this attitude and the increasing monitzation of the music industry at all costs to the artists and what the consumer may not realize she wants (how often do you look for new music?) cannot be ignored. People are angry. Angry music helps people deal with their anger /> demon music is that which makes people sleep.
Here’s to them letting in Lil’ Wayne the moment the opportunity arrives (I mean at least they get hip-hop right (seriously: Tha’ Carter III is tha’ shit)).
