System of a Down's Serj Tankian joined Prophets of Rage (including Audioslave bandmates Tim Commerford, Tom Morrello, and Brad Wilk) on stage in Nuremberg (Germany) yesterday for a live rendition of Audioslave's "Like a Stone" (off that band's debut self-titled album released in 2002). This comes just over two weeks after the passing of Audioslave's former lead vocalist, Chris Cornell, and a slew of artists showing respect to the the singer, in a slew of different ways.

Audioslave/Chris Cornell/Serj Tankian fan(s) or not, what makes this video cool is Tankian's distinct approach to his vocals on it. Tankian has always had a very recognizable and unique voice in rock music (like it or not), and Chris Cornell was a crazy awesome singer, so hearing Tankian in a way replace Cornell's range with his personality (not to say that Tankian didn't hit his notes (far from it (mostly)) or that Cornell didn't have personality (extremely far from it), just that they employ them differently) is definitely worth a watch, if you're into that type of thing.

Either way you swing #WhereMyTobyKeithFansAt? , it's a very cool alternative version of an already very cool song (if you strongly disagree, you probably shouldn't have clicked on this article).

Give it a listen! And be sure to check out Audioslave, Prophets of Rage and System of a Down on tour or in a music store near you!
